Acupuncture is a complex branch of
ancient Chinese medicine that has
been in practice for over 3000
years. To simplify the principles of
acupuncture; there are 2 major
aspects; Meridian and Chi (Qi)
Energy.
Acupuncture works on 14
major energy channels called
meridians that course through our
body from the top of our head to the
bottom of our feet, including
internal organs. Second, acupuncture works on
energy called Chi or Qi, which
circulates via the meridians that
runs to all parts of our body. Chi
energy is a vital force that
separates the living from the dead.
When this Chi energy is balanced and
is able to flow freely, we are in
good health. When the Chi energy is
stagnated, misdirected, or in
derangement- pain, illness, and
dysfunction will be the outcome.
An acupuncturist performing
acupuncture-the precise placement of
needles along the surface of the
body- will stimulate certain points
called "acupoints" along specific
meridians which will restored the
normal balance and flow of Chi
energy. Once this balance and flow
of Chi energy is restore, our body
will start the process of repairing
itself and will return to good
health.
These are a few
conditions/disorders most frequently
treated: pain throughout all parts
of the body, detox for chemical
dependency, wellness care, blood
pressure problems (high or low),
allergies, asthma, CTS (carpal
tunnel syndrome), headache,
insomnia, sciatica, stomach
problems, internal organ problems,
gynecological dysfunctions, poor
circulation, cold feet/hands,
bursitis, dizziness (vertigo),
indigestion, and many, many more.
Ladies ... did you know that
cosmetic acupuncture is an
alternative from botox injection or
surgical facelift? Acupuncture: facial
rejuvenation using our own vital Qi energy
through acupuncture point stimulated on the
surface of the face. Look younger, feel more
relaxed and rejuvenated.
