I have your TENSION please?
Mimi Alene and Melina Bambanian
by Louise Kripal
Suffering from the aches and pains of stress and over work? Looking for
someone to relive your tension? Well, now there's no need to look
any further than our very own East Village. Last month I had the
privilege of visiting Chéta Chiropractic & Day Spa located at 126 Linden
adjacent to the new Best Western Convention Hotel. On entering the
Spa, I was struck by its elegant, tranquil decor (not what one
usually encounters upon visiting a Chiropractic service) yet found it
quite appropriate after orienting myself with Chéta's mission: "to heal,
transform, energize, rejuvenate, and promote long term health and beauty
in a ....serene environment through an alternative medicine."
Although I had dropped in unannounced, Melina, one of the co-owners
(Mimi being the second), greeted me enthusiastically and kindly took
time to fill me in on all what Chéta has to offer. I was totally
impressed by their array of services which includes: complete
waxing, massage and skin care treatments in addition to their
Chiropractic care. Chéta also is equipped to provide treatment and
training for such things as improving sleep, immune system functioning,
circulation of blood and energy flow. Chéta is currently
offering a discount of $15 OFF your first visit, Free Hotel parking is
available.
Chéta's website is: www.chetadayspa.com For
